Why People-Pleasers Lie and What We Gain When We Share Our Truth

I believed the lie that my relationships would be better if I was a people pleaser. I wrote an article about this that was published by Tiny Buddha, a community of 4 million followers. A friend called me a liar which was a wake-up call and the catalyst for me being a little more honest about my feelings, preferences and limits in my relationships. A side benefit to the wake-up call was my relationships deepened and became more freeing.
